We have a full Canon digital SLR setup for dental photography, to help plan smiles along with our technicians and to discuss options with our patients. Don't worry, no photographs will ever be shared without your permission - confidentiality is important to us.
 

Missing Teeth

The patient was missing two front teeth, and the neighbouring teeth had drifted. 'Lava' zirconium and porcelain bridges along with tooth whitening were used by Dr Bannister to disguise the gaps and improve the appearance.
 

Gum Contouring

The patient's 'gummy' smile and old crowns made her too embarrassed to smile. After recontouring the gum and raising the 'smile line', Dr Bannister was able to provide new all-porcelain crowns to help her smile again.

In this case, our patient had two missing front teeth. There was an old adhesive bridge, with a metal wing that attaches to the back of an adjacent tooth, and a plastic partial denture (not shown). The metal from the previous bridge gave a slight greyish tinge to the porcelain tooth, which was also too short. By making two white zirconium / porcelain bridges, Dr Bannister was able to eliminate the metal completely and remove the shadowing, with very little tooth structure needing to be removed. The partial denture was no longer needed.
